Works on Paper

Working on paper with acrylic, pastels and other mixed media allows me to express ideas quickly and boldly and is a spontaneous and intuitive way to generate ideas for paintings. Paper as a surface reacts differently to paint than it does on panels and canvas which means the way I paint and make marks needs to be adjusted resulting in different textures and lines.
